'Blood Emergency' Declared

Officials with the Oklahoma Blood Institute say there is an emergency blood shortage in the state. There is less than a one-day supply of blood available for hospitals. Sullivan says the blood is also needed for cancer and burn patients and that convalescent plasma from those who have recovered from COVID-19 is needed to help current patients with the infection.
