George has worked in various forms of media for more than 30 years, but mostly in the radio industry. Heâ€™s worked with radio stations in Duncan, Anadarko, and Chickasha.
Heâ€™s been dubbed â€œThe Voice of Grady County,â€ and has covered news and sporting events in the region since the early 1980s. He has been behind the microphone for many Grady and Caddo County basketball tournaments, and has broadcast state championship games in football, baseball, boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls soccer.
At KOOL 105.5, George is the news and sports director, as well as a marketing consultant. He writes and produces commercials, too!
George was recently awarded an Excellence in Broadcast Journalism award from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission and the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts.
He and his wife Louise have been married 28 years.
Joe has been with the company since 2008 and has 46 years of experience in the radio industry. My name is Dennis Lee Linam. I am a disabled Army Veteran. From 1978 to 1982, I was raised at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo, Texas until my graduation. My first job was as a butcher at Safeway Foods in Duncan, Oklahoma. I joined the Army September 1982. I have traveled around the world (with the Army) from Central America to Afghanistan and Iraq. I have been in four military police actions and three combat engagements in my Army career. I was sent to Nicaragua, Honduras, Columbia, Bolivia and Panama. I am a graduate of The University of Phoenix with a major in journalism. I have 6 kids Four boys and two girls ranging from 14 to 28 years old. My oldest Son Christopher Died in Iraq, while attached to Fort Hood Air Cavalry unit around Baghdad, while i was deployed to Afghanistan with the 45th Infantry. I now live in Chickasha, Oklahoma with my wife Angela and dog; Ginger.
