This year we would like to invite you to audition for our production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning show by Tracy Letts, August: Osage County.
This hefty family drama set in Pawhuska, Oklahoma gives us an inside look at a family in crisis. Their patriarch has disappeared bringing the family back to their childhood home to help their dying mother look for him. Upon discovering his whereabouts it sends the family into a bigger spiral than could ever be imagined.

This hilarious and gritty story, deals with generational family trauma, grief, scandal, and truth in an almost impossibly Oklahoman fashion.

Please come prepared to move and prepared to cold read! We will be starting off with introductions, a little bit about this play, and then move into a few group exercises so that we can all warm up and get to know each other. Then we will begin to cold read from several sides selected from the script. We will end with some movement group exercises, and if anyone has a prepared piece we will give them the opportunity to present it then. Prepared pieces are not required, but they are appreciated!

There will be 2 days of auditions and all who attend the first night are more than welcome to attend the second night as well!
